Music licensing

How licensing works

Morontia Music and Media, LLC reviews each request. This page explains that review. It does not show a price, take payment, or grant a license.

1. Your project

Say whether the project is for yourself or for a client. A company name is required only for a client or business. Choose where the music will appear, whether the video can earn money, and whether you will pay to advertise it. Those are separate questions. Territory and term start blank so a consequential answer is not assumed.

Personal or social video, and business or client online video, can be sent as a project review when the territory is the United States or worldwide and the term is one year. Paid advertising, film or TV, a game or app, “other / not sure,” another territory, and any term other than one year go to custom review with the answers you already entered.

2. Your request

You see a summary of the project before the email opens. The summary is not an offer and not a license. Track previews are not published on this site. A preview shared later is still not permission to use the music.

3. Agreement and files

If the request is approved, Morontia Music and Media, LLC sends an agreement and the authorized files. Signing and delivery are not completed on this website. Until that agreement is sent, no license has been granted.
